Wedding livestream query

Hello there! I’m hoping someone here can help me.

OK, so I’m the best man at a wedding in a couple of months and find myself in need of some advice. The couple want to livestream to those unable to attend in person due to COVID-19 restrictions.

In this endeavour, the couple would like to be able to have the text and melody (single line of music score) of all congregational music (incl. hymns, psalms and mass!) overlaid on the program in a lower third

Does anyone have a suggestion of how to go about this?

Thanks in advance!

P.S. I’m using an ATEM Mini Pro as the backbone of this operation

I would imagine you could make a video where the music and lyrics are overlaid on the bottom third and you bring that video into the AMP (from another HDMI device, like a phone or ipad running Keynote or iMix 16 Pro) and then mask out the top portion or luma key it out so that only the bottom third shows.

Yea that’s probably the best way. Though you’ll only be able to get a couple of lines of text per slide so it’s large enough to read, so for every piece of music, and the mass, that’s a LOT of slides!

Assuming everything is happening live (not music playback) you’ll need someone to manually trigger every slide … and hope everything happens in exactly the order it has been planned! Sounds like fun  !

Thank you both for your replies, gentlemen. Fortunately, I have a chap available to operate the technology for me so that oughtn’t be a problem. I’ll certainly give iMix a go, but that’s one hefty price tag for the Pro version!

much cheaper than a Hyperdeck! and can be controlled via Companion + Streamdeck.

The only software that comes to mind is ProPresenter that is used by churches.

You can have the computer running ProPresenter as an input in the ATEM Mini Pro by using the Luma Key or Chroma Key features.

Here is how to setup this using ProPresenter.
