MixEffect is now available on the App Store! Thanks to everyone who have been beta testing the app for the past two months.
If this is the first time you’re hearing of MixEffect, it’s my app for iOS and iPadOS (with preliminary support for Apple Silicon Macs), that functions as a near-complete replacement for the ATEM Software Control app on macOS and Windows. It features a scalable interface that allows it to run on the smallest screen iPod touch 7th-gen all the way to the biggest iPad Pro.
ATEM Mini Extreme users will especially like my implementation of SuperSource. You can visually edit, save, and share presets. Tapping on a SuperSource preset will automatically animate the boxes moving into and out of position. No macros needed!
The app is free to download and comes with a 30-day trial of MixEffect Pro. The basic version allows you to change program/preview, set transitions, perform cut/auto, and use the fader bar. Go Pro with a single in-app purchase of $49.99 to access Macros, Audio, SuperSource, Streaming, DSK, USK, Automations via Siri and Shortcuts, and more.
